Do I really need more needles? Probably not… But I’ve used every set I’ve bought so far, so heck, they’re always useful for something!

Got the problem right on paper. Entered the wrong letter into the clicker. Missed 8 pts for it....

I am so friggin’ sad. That one problem costed me a whole letter grade!! And to make matters worse, I don’t know which question I flubbed so I can’t make a test correction page for it, which means I’ll be breaking my commit to study contract and won’t get to replace my lowest exam score with the grade on my final next month.

Ughh why is this happening in the last 6 weeks of school? >.<

Funny how I’m supposed to be writing a paper about rhetoric and all I can think of is morning...

I finally understand what I’m learning in chem! :D It would have been nice to have a chemistry teacher who was competent at teaching the subject in high school *ahem* but I’m just happy to not be feeling so clueless (and stupid) all the time.

She still has no idea where the hell my mole is and I still want it back, but I think she either threw it away and said she lost it, or some student took it. -.- I want that Hk tutu I put on the mole back! >:[

I got ripped off!!! D:< Purchased a set of 13 steel circular needles from eBay cuz it was dirt-cheap, and waited 3 weeks to it to arrive at my door. Came home from school today to find a measly little 5”x3” envelope sitting on my desk. My heart sank a bit because wtf! 13 circs are not gonna fit in one tiny envelope! So I thought the seller just sent me a package of the darning needles in the picture instead of the full circs.

Impatiently, I snipped off the end of the package (and part of the plastic packaging for the circ needle inside) and … Flip. A. Freakin’, TABLE!!!

ONE CIRCULAR NEEDLE! Wth???

It was UK size 13. I loged onto eBay to see if the original listing was for one friggin needle and no—it was for the full set. All the pictures and texts said “13 set” or “quantity: 13” so I know they weren’t advertising for one needle. Besides, if they were, wouldn’t they at least let you choose the needle size from a list like other sellers do?

Sent the seller a message. Hope they get back to me and explain! They sold over 40 sets of these so I’m expecting other people to flip tables as well. Just gotta wait for their reviews to come up…

Man, I am just so sorely disappointed :( I had been checking my mail like crazy and I just feel so let down by someone I don’t even know on the other side of the planet! I just wanted to buy some cheap metal circs so I could work on knitting socks 2-at-a-time… What the hell? I don’t wanna open a dispute with eBay or PayPal and go through all the hassle, but I wanted those needles!

On the bright side, the circ I did receive is better than I expected. The steel cable has practically no memory so it straightens out right away when you take it out of the packaging. And, they are super light for metal needles! I can’t say anything about the larger sizes, though, because in case you missed the whole point of the rant, I did not receive them.

Excuse me while I go eat away my disappointment.

Gotta wake up in 5 and a half hours and here I am crocheting a pair of baby booties. Someone...

Yaaaaaaay! I finished my drama, The Princess’ Man! :D It was so good. Got me bad at the end and I cried like a little bitch who just got her candy swiped, but it was worth every freakin tear.

I swear, I love Moon Chae Won. Watched two dramas with her and they were both awesome. She gets to work with such cute actors, too! xD

Remember that newborn sock I was working on? I finished it.

I like it but at the same time, I don’t really like it… I mean, look at that thing! It’s way too long to be a “newborn” sock. When I get the guts to, I’ll undo the kitchener stitch on the toe and frog back half the foot.

I also have to add that this is unblocked because I’m going to modify the original pattern instead of leaving it like it is. I’ve looked at other people’s project pages and it seems I’m not the only one who’s gotten a 4.5” heel-to-toe measurement for this. An avg newborn’s feet are around 3” I believe…

You don’t have to be a “yarn snob” to ~~hate~~ harbor an intense dislike for cheap acrylics like Red Heart Super Saver. It’s awful to crochet with, but it’s not too bad to knit with once you loosen up your tension and get past the itchiness.

Anyway, I have 4 skeins of it and as much as I’d love to trade them for 364 yds of better quality yarn, that’s not happening. So, I started knitting a shoe rug with it :D

The colorway is Cherry Red but it looks more like maroon in this picture because of the terrible lighting. 1 repeat down, 7 more to go!

I’ve always wanted to bake bread. But not the typical American loafs. I wanted to bake the soft, fluffy breads I often see in Asian bakeries. It just so happened that I ran across an awesome blog with some good recipes for Asian baked goods! :D

I’ve made 5-6 things using Christine’s Recipes. Most of them came out looking and tasting pretty good!

My favorite bread-thing to bake are the Hong Kong Sausage Rolls. They are a crowd pleaser and everyone will want one. ~~(Okay, maybe not the vegetarians and vegans and gluten-free people.)~~

Soft. Fluffy. Yummy.

I tried Christine’s adaptation of Hokkaido Milk Toast as well.

Aren’t they friggin’ gorgeous?? I can’t believe I made them! I wish they tasted as good as they looked, but unfortunately, I thought the bread was rather bland…

From what I understand, Christine takes recipes from a Chinese cookbook called 65C 湯種麵包（陳郁芬著) so they’re not all of her original recipes. For people who can’t get their hands on a copy of this book (or for those who cannot read Chinese), her blog is an awesome place to find adaptations of recipes that actually work.

So for those who have wondered where the heck I got my recipes from, well, this is one source. xD Happy baking!

So it’s Christmas and every human in the house got gifts. But… we left the pups off the shopping list! >.<’ It’s closed everywhere, and the only thing I had in mind to get them was one of those Kong Extreme toys because they’re big time chewers.

The dogs don’t know it’s Christmas so it’s okay. I still felt bad for forgetting, though, so I made them a healthy treat. Sorta.

Behold: Carrots tossed with peanut butter!

I cut an inch and a half off of a big fat carrot, peeled it, cut it into pinky nail-sized bits and tossed it with 1/2-1 tablespoon of peanut butter to make it appealing to my dogs’ taste buds.

Looks nasty, but my dogs liked it.

One of my dogs was really picky and he would just lick the peanut butter off and spit out the carrots. Then, I chopped the carrots into smaller pieces and coated them with PB again and he finally ate everything. The other one just wolfed down his portion like it was nothing. O.O

** I am not a vet, or doggy dietitian, but you should not be feeding your dog peanut butter in excess as it can lead to health problems in the future. If your dog is either allergic to peanuts or carrots, then you probably should not be reading this in the first place. **

I feel like I have an ~~unhealthy~~ obsession with crafts. It started with little things like amigurumi, then expanded into knitting, and now I sort of want to you know… buy everything related to stamps, scrapbooking, etc. so that I can make personal gifts and stuff~

I love handmade things. It’s nice to know that someone cares enough about you to take their time and produce something from the heart rather than say…go to Hallmark or something and buy a generic card for a ridiculous price.
